THIS IS MY HISPANIC HARITIGE PAGE!!

My Hispanic haritige month figure that I choose was Roberto Celemente.

Who was he?

Roberto Celemente was a Puerto Rican baseball player who starred with the Pittsburgh Pirates, winning the World Series MVP in 1971 and the National League MVP in 1966.

What was he known for?

Roberto Celmemente was known for his amazing hitting average and amazing hits! He earned 12 Gold Glove awards, and was known for his humanitarian efforts. Those efforts sadly led to his death on December 31, 1972, while delivering earthquake relief aid to Nicaragua.

What impact did he have?

His life is marked by both his exceptional athletic career and his commitment to helping others. He is an encouragement to others for his hits and attitude.

Here is my haritige project if you want to find out more!
